Whole Wheat & Linseed bread...
310ml of water
2 Tbsp Oil (Rice Bran is our Fav)
2 Tbsp milk powder
1 Tbsp sugar (or sugar replacement)
1 tsp salt
1 tsp bread improver (Not necessary but we have heaps & don't want to toss it)
250g white flour (using SR Flour at the moment so as to reduce the Stock Pile)
250g Australian Grown & Milled ATTA flour (Better than the Indian produced flour for making bread that has to rise.. I also have concerns with the amount of Insecticide used on Indian Farms)
2 Tbsp ground Flax/Linseed
1 tsp of Dry Yeast
Add to bread pan as ingredients are listed
Select the 2 lb (pound) & Wholemeal settings....
This is now our favourite morning toast loaf... Turns out quite crunchy & has a great flavour....
Have only baked this in the oven once & it turned out to have a thick crunchy crust.... Just so much easier in the Bread machine me thinks....
